In this video I have visualised the account of Pausanias [Paus. 8.15.1-4] in regards to the introduction of the Eleusinian Mysteries into the Arkadian cult tradition and the inevitable change of the frequency of practicing the older cult.
For the representation of the procession of the Eleusinian Mysteries I was inspired by a video from Konstantinos Arvanitakis with the title Eleusis, the great Mysteries for the Museum of Acropolis [watch it here].

For the representation of the mask of the priest of Kidaria Demeter I was inspired by the image of an enigmatic bronze figurine from the Museum of Tegea,

Finally, for the representation of the dancers and the dance kidaris I was influenced by a bronze group of figurines excavated at Petrovouni, perhaps a dedication to Hippios Poseidon.
